Students are in the classroom using their mobiles and one student shows that he is very nervous because he doesn’t understand the teacher’s explanation.
The expression “If you can’t beat ‘em” means the teacher is using the mobile in his classroom as methodology because the students use to be in classroom with their phone and the teacher doesn’t have their attention if he uses the traditional methodology.
